Yngve Sandboe is a one-man show, acknowledged as an international capacity in development of professional software for light and multimedia control systems.

His Safari software (sold by the German company Tranchtechnik, and formely by Awab International ab) is today worldwide one of the leading professional softwares controlling the opera stages in Milan and Paris, an number of TV-studios, and also the Moderna Museet in Stockholm, were it controls the building itself as well as the various new media art works.

The cooperation between Sandboe and Transtechnik ended in 2001, and Sandboe will shortly release a completely new generation of light and multimedia software. This software is developed to meet the requirements of the art project, including the tunnel of light at the new Nydalen Station project in Oslo. This project was produced by Intravision System AS, introducing Yngve Sandboe as both software developer and also as an light artist.
